ABOUT US

Ferry House opened its' doors initially in 1992. Founded on a family homestead within renovated stone buildings, the idea was to bring a unique guest experience. The founders John and Sonia had a vision of people worldwide connecting to Ireland and what it has to offer from their doorstep through their ability and experience in hospitality.

Their daughter Lisa subsequently took on their vision and started to run the business via various outlets including booking.com. Now we are engaging in launching an extension to the current facilities and taking things a step further. 

In 2020 the idea emerged to expand services and engage with local developments, through a quality Bike Rental business to facilitate the Greenway. Also to enhance visitor experience through extensive Greenway information and provide a style of outdoor restaurant setting for our visitors.

Our passion for hospitality and travel meeting people from all over the world is what drove us from the beginning, and it continues to push us each year.
